Formed over 35 years ago, The Sutcliffe Group Incorporated brings a wealth of experience in sport organization governance, strategic planning, strategy development, facilitation, program design, program evaluation, organizational structure and compensation reviews, interviews and environmental scans, policy development and analysis, research and consulting to each new project in the sport, recreation and physical activity sectors.
For 17 years, the Principal, Judy Sutcliffe, was a Director in the Government of Ontario. With an M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology (MUN) and an M.Phil. in Criminology from the University of Cambridge, Judy has been responsible for Program Management, Operational Review, Audit, Investigations, Fiscal Planning and Corporate Policy in a number of Ministries. For nine years (1993 – 2002) Judy was the Ontario Director responsible for Sport & Recreation Policy, Planning and Programs.
In the past 15 years that Judy has been consulting in the sport, recreation and physical activity sector, she has completed the following types of projects: governance reviews, program evaluations, strategic plans, needs analyses, consultation and strategy development, facilitation, policy research and development interviews.
